University of Exeter (Penryn Campus)
The University of Exeter (UoE) is a Russell Group university and in the top one percent of institutions globally. It combines world-class research with very high levels of student satisfaction. UoE has more than 18,000 students, with 2000 of those studying at their campuses in Cornwall. It is ranked 7th in The Times and The Sunday Times Good University Guide 2016 and has consistently been in the top ten in UK league tables. We also rank 35th in the world and 6th in the UK in the Leiden University Rankings 2016. The latest Research Excellence Framework (REF 2014) recognised 98% of our research as being of international quality. The University has four campuses. The Streatham and St Luke’s campuses are in Exeter and there are two campuses in Cornwall - Penryn and Truro. In an arrangement that is unique in the UK, the Penryn Campus is shared with Falmouth University. At this Penryn campus, UoE students can pursue degrees across a range of study areas from all of our academic Colleges. This includes Business, English; Environmental Sciences including Geography, Biology, Ecology and Zoology; Politics; Geology; History; Mathematical Sciences; Mining Engineering; Renewable Energy; and Surveying.
